Custom 404 Error Pages
Mood:  bright
Topic: 404 Error Page

Did you know....
...that you can create a custom 404 error page for your website?  Yes, you can if you have a paid account!  To do this you will want to create a page and name it "error404.html" and upload it to your file manager.

If you are using the Webon Site Builder* tool, you can do this as well.  You will want to create a new page and then go back to rename it "error404" (no need to enter .html - the system will automatically do that for you).    You can see my error page at helpfulgal.tripod.com/error404.html.  For some ideas on what you can do with 404 pages and why they are useful to customize, please click here.

* One important thing to remember for our Webon users: remember to uncheck the box to "Show link in site navigation".  You will not want your 404 Error page to show up in your navigation bar.
